Parent Child Attachment Play (PCAP)

What is Parent Child Attachment Play?

Parent Child Attachment Play helps create weekly play opportunities with your child(ren).

PCAP helps parents to manage time, environment, emotions and help their children to make helpful choices.

PCAP aims to  help empower parents and carers to be the catalyst for change in their child.

PCAP sessions take place with parents / carers and not children.

Will this approach support my child and my Family?

Parents and carers are often concerned about their children’s behaviour and that by adopting a playful attachment approach they will somehow lose control over their family life.

In fact, the opposite is true. When the parent-child relationship is working, helpful child behaviour generally follows and family life becomes more manageable which can also lead to a positive change in school.

How many sessions will I need?

Between 6 and 10, dependent on how much support a parent feels that they need.

Where will the sessions take place?

In a venue local to you. We can discuss location when I initially meet you.
